How it works

Upload your Procreate brush. Drop the .brush / .brushset file into the converter. Multi-brush files are supported.
Pick Photoshop as the target. You can select several targets at once and get one download per format.
Download and install. In Photoshop, open Window › Brushes, then use the panel menu › Import Brushes… and pick the .abr. On iPad, import from the Brushes panel.

What carries over

From Procreate: Shape and grain images, stroke path settings (spacing, jitter), grain behaviour, and Apple Pencil pressure/tilt dynamics.

Writing to Photoshop: Dynamics are written as native Photoshop preset controls (size/opacity/flow jitter with pressure control and minimum sliders), and grain becomes a Photoshop texture with the closest blend mode — verified against real commercial .abr files, including hard-mix texture capture.

Procreate grain write-back to .abr uses Photoshop's texture system; blend modes map to the nearest Photoshop equivalent and the notes list any substitution.

Common questions

Will the brush feel the same in Photoshop? Yes, Brushfactory reads the brush into a universal schema and writes native Photoshop settings. Brushfactory never rasterizes strokes or approximates by eye. Where a setting has no equivalent in Photoshop, the result screen tells you exactly what was adjusted.
